New York! New York! A Bachelorette Town
Congratulations to Megan from NY City! She wins our Bachelor/ette Story Contest!
We started the evening at dinner, just Sally and me. I had the whole evening planned and it was going to be a combination of romantic celebration and sexy fun. Dinner was at our favorite restaurant and we didn't hold back, we got a bottle of champagne, appetizers, salads, dinner AND dessert. Feeling full and a little toasty, we headed off to meet our friends at a Jazz club.
The Jazz club was where we decided to make a committment to each other and have a formal ceremony. It felt fitting to return there with our friends for a celebration of this moment. The next day we were driving up to Vermont for a legal marriage. The Bachelorette Party was serving as a celebration with our friends, since we had decided to have a private ceremony.
Our friends surprised us with an announcement at the club and a favorite song played by that night's band. It was great. About 45 of our closest friends came out that night, and we danced and drank with each of them.
After LOTs of drinks and enjoyment with our friends and great Jazz, we went home to our apartment. I had asked a friend to put out some goodies that I planned for our night at home. She had set it up just as I'd asked. Candles everywhere for lighting and setting the mood, our favorite CD in the player, a favorite, light porn DVD ready and waiting, as well as fresh batteries for the vibrator.
You don't need to hear any more, lets just say that we had a great time and agreed to never stop loving this way after the ceremony. We took our time the next morning, getting our things together and heading for Vermont, smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.
