Attractiveness & Chemistry
George (Danny Ocean) and Julia (Tess Ocean). The ladies love George. Most guys love Julia. It's not a reach to say they're attractive together. Chemistry - the good news is Julia seems to have split from her guy during this movie, but it doesn't appear it was due to George. They only have a few scenes together, and it's mostly arguing. Julia's current relationship with Andy Garcia (who portrays casino owner Terry Benedict) wasn't chemistry-filled either. There were some rumors about her and George, though...
Story Line
Big Vegas Casino(s). Big heist opportunities for a new millennium take on a Brat Pack movie from back in the day (1960). Clooney gets to play Frank Sinatra's title character from the first film, and the Casino's haven't gotten any easier to rob. Ocean still needs what appears to be ten more guys to help him pull it off. Brad Pitt's (Dusty Ryan) character is the other half of the brain trust organizing this caper. He must be Dean Martin! What makes it even more interesting is that Danny's ex-wife is going steady with the brilliant and brutal owner of the Bellagio casino the gang is seeking to rob. Tess Ocean (Angie Dickinson from the original) divorced Danny while he was locked up in jail, and seems to have found a Sugar Daddy.
Is it just a coincidence that Danny wants to rob the bank? What would he do to get her back? Can a vault with security tighter than Fort Knox actually be robbed? Can it be robbed by this group of con men including Bernie Mac and Matt Damon? Are you ready for some twists and turns?
Nookie Factor
It's a heist movie, and Julia may be the only woman in the midst of a lot of fellas. However, the Nookie isn't there, folks. She's nice to look at, wiggles her butt a bit which is a pleasant surprise, but the director, Soderbergh, doesn't have any sexy scenes like Clooney and J-Lo had in Out of Sight. Yeah, big mistake. We knew it was a gamble, but in this area the movie rolls snake eyes.

Here are the house rules on Ocean's Eleven:
Don't look for anything too sexy - nor for much realism. Don't ask too many questions. Just sit back and enjoy this ride. It's a sometimes clever Hollywood caper comedy with a lot of stars that somehow works. Take the hit on Eleven. Even if you don't like to gamble, it's a pretty safe bet for anybody!
