My Big Fat Greek Wedding
The KingLove Movie Guide Review, 07/02
Starring Nia Vardalos and John Corbett
Directed by Joel Zwick
Rated PG, 95 Minutes
Attractiveness & Chemistry
This movie, a comedy, does not have a lot to offer in the "hot" department, but it's great for romance and fun. Nia's performance is worthy of the Oscar and her chemistry with John is terrific. It's the family that steals the show, however, so go for the fun of it, not for the romance of it.
Story Line
In Toula's (Nia Vardalos) family marrying a Greek man is there dream and goal for their daughter. When she falls in love with a WASPy, non-Greek named Ian (John Corbett), her family flips. Ian tries and tries to make them love him, and this is where the laughs abound.
Enjoy this Greek romp in wedding fun!
Nookie Factor
Not much Nookie, but the chemistry is right for John and Nia. It's good for a few laughs.
