How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days
The KingLove Movie Guide Review, 03/03
Starring Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey
Directed by Donald Petrie
Rated PG-13, 116 Minutes
Attractiveness & Chemistry
Kate Hudson is as hot as she is talented. This is certainly one of the better Romantic Comedies we've seen in awhile. Matthew is sexy and the two stars heat up the screen. There is lots of kissing and making out to keep you... sticky.
Story Line
Andie Anderson (Hudson) and Benjamin Barry (McConaughey) both have opposite goals, which leads to mischief and mayhem. This is, of course, how most romantic comedies are devised, but it doesn't always work. Here, it does. Andie is writing an article about ways to lose your boyfriend and Ben makes a bet with his boss that he can make a woman fall in love with him by a certain time. Because Ben wants to win the bet he puts up withe Andie's shenanigans.
Of course the two fall in love in the end, they must, it's Hollywood and it's a romantic comedy.
Nookie Factor
The make out scenes are the best and well worthy of some nookie factor.
Comments from the People!
"I just love Kate! Give me more!"
"Finally a romantic comedy that works."
"Matthew is such a hottie."
KingLove's Overall Rating
I just love Romantic Comedies and this one works for me. I think Kate was hotter in Almost Famous, but she's still worthy of hotness here. Matthew is sexy and overall the film is entertaining. Enjoy!
