Attractiveness & Chemistry
Kate Hudson is "so cute" and Luke Wilson is "cuter." These two are a good match and have chemistry (we heard off screen, too), and we hope they get a chance to work together again. That said, there is very little on-screen touching or kissing between these two, though there is a rather humorous "romp" between Luke and the gorgeous Sophie Marceau.
Besides Luke and Sophie getting it on one night, we're not seeing how this film earned its PG-13 rating.
Story Line
Alex (Luke) is a writer and he has a gambling problem. He is in some serious debt to some serious people and very early on gets himself hung out a 3rd story window, twice. He is not killed, however, but manages to beg for mercy and earn himself another month to get the money. As a warning, however, they burn/destroy his computer, which does not seem smart since it is through his writing that he expects to get their money.
Alex has successfully written one book but is now facing some miserable writers block and he no longer has his computer to stare at. With 30 days to write the book, get his money and pay his debtors, he hires a stenographer, Emma (Kate) to type his new novel through dictation. You guessed it, in the process of writing his new book the two fall in love!
Alex' book turns out to be closer to truth than fiction which causes a rift between Alex & Emma, but no worries... oops! I almost gave away the ending.
Nookie Factor
Alex & Emma do have one amourous night together but we don't get to see much. Though Luke Wilson has a pretty hot bod, and his naked chest can take you a little bit of the way to hot and heavy. The real "nookie" is between Luke & Sophie, but it is mostly done in good humor and not much passion. If you are looking for the "nookie factor" here, you probably won't find it satisfying.

KingLove's Overall Rating
It's cute. Rob Reiner tried a little too hard to relive the glory days of Harry & Sally, but we'll forgive him and take that we were somewhat entertained for 90 min. Is it worth the price of a movie ticket? I'm not sure.
